Brela is the most famous tourist place at the Makarska Riviera, with several kilometers long pebble beach including the famous beach Punta Rata which is located along the Brela Stone as a symbol of this tourist pearl. Brela are located under the massive mountain Biokovo with the highest peak St. Jure (1762 m), away 50 km from Split, the city under UNESCO protection, and 15 km from Makarska.
Beautiful, clean and far known pebble beaches, clear blue sea and enjoying a rest in the shade of thick pine forests earned international awards for Brela, including the Blue Flag to the beach Rat from 1999, and to the beaches Berulia and Stomarica since 2004. It is interesting that the beach Rat ranked among the ten most beautiful beaches in the world according to Forbes magazine in 2004, the same year as the initiative 'Tourist flower' Brela declared the most beautiful tourist town on the Croatian Adriatic.

Whoever comes in Brela returns several times, and this is witnessed by long-standing tradition of family accommodation of a large number of guests.
There are also high class hotels, and the promenade enables the morning and the evening special atmosphere. Along the promenade there are several restaurants that serve a wide variety of dishes and drinks.
Ideal location and surroundings give Brela special significance.
